The race HAD to of been less than a 1/4 mile then. At the beginning of 3rd gear the Z06 sling shots that truck. the race was over before the Z06 got into 4th, which im sure even stock c6' Z06's hit 4th before the 1/4 mile...

oh, please tell me more about where that was specified. 1/8 mile drag racing is for geared/tire cars on VHT.

btw, ever heard of half mile or full mile racing...?

i get the sense that this truck steals the hit, 60's well and claims victory before he's caught.

BTW, where is the unedited video? I aint no video expert, but this video sure looks like you guys cut off the top 1/3 of the screen with a zoom type function in order to cut out the guy who was signalling the race: which no doubt means the truck took off before he gave the signal and the vette belated decided to try and run him down.
Bolt ons include "bolting on" a 200 shot...

I've seen before its got full bolt ons and a stall. Not really looked at 5.0 f150 but I've seen ecoboost ones go mid 12s at 114 with bolt ons still stock tires. 5.0 makes little less power tq wise but little more hp from what seen.

Racing = competition. That is why we do it. There for 1/8 mile = more competition. I laugh when people complain about it being to short. Makes it harder to work for.

He does this **** to troll people.
I'll spray a 200 shot and claim to be stock. "What do you mean my mid-130 trap isn't believable for a stock C6?"

1/8 races are like the special Olympics.
I'd never go run one. Track or street.
Regardless if my car can get out (it can)

Oh look....I banged one gear.
Meh

Street racing is like doing drugs. It's illegal, fun, and you're proud of it when you're young. But if you're still doing it every week well in to your 30s and 40s, it just gets sad.

A drag strip is not only legal and safer, but keeps things fair. No one can jump the start, or they're greeted with a bright red light... and to real racers, that red light means you lose... and no one can argue the results. Et and trap are documented.
