whatever happened to being ready to race. now days when somebody loses, all they have is excuses. Be ready. Doesn't that mach 1 come with tubular style exhaust manifolds on it?
oh... and usually the only way a ford beats Gm is when they add a blower. aka older cobras and shelbys.
its all for fun though... right

I agree with ya on the GM vs NA Ford motors. I know I would never even consider racing even a stock LS1 because of the beating I would receive.

Totally agree with you. If you want to play on the streets or track, have your car ready. This means having a tire or some form of suspension to keep the power planted. This also means having some mods that actually do something. Throwing on a CAI without at least a catback and a tune is actually reducing power.

the whole point was 2 race a cobra with similar mods 2 my car smart guy the argument was that a stock ls1 could not keep up with an 03 cobra.. can't believe I just had to explain that...

What do the parents of these GM, inferiority-complex having people feed them for breakfast as kids????!
Fords are the debil! If you lose to one, you shame our family!!! Eat these nails as a reminder as to why you can never lose to a Ford vehicle!!!

I grew up mainly dodge family. Well trans went out in the dodge truck so my dad got a ford. That truck didn't last long, it was having problems left and right. So now we have Chevy which haven't failed us yet.

I only had Mopars and GM's. I changed to Ford when I went to sell my 2001 Z28 and the dealership told me the Camaro and Firebird was discontinued. I asked what else he had in terms of performance. He had the Vette which was out of my price range and the other option was a Malibu SS.
Ford it is, then.
I would gladly drive another GM though. Actually, that new Grand National would be nice if they are not going to be to high in price.
