mine would have been around the same when basically a lid\catback. maybe a little quicker. I never had it bone stock.

A lot my friend has one with some bolt ons and im 1-1 against him. Hell he is almost as quick as his dads C6 GS...

Edit his dads GS is the ls3 or ls2 cant remember but it has cam, exhaust and tune. His car is exhaust, CAI and tune 5.0 the Vette ran a 7.5 and his 5.0 on stock tires ran a 7.9. He should be as fast or faster now because he has since then put a Boss intake and doing gears and stall soon.

It's funny how insecure you are about the 5.0

After seeing simple 5.0 setups run multiple trains on heavily modded f-bodies, I bet hammer's race is what kept you from playing in traffic.
