They're just slower, that's all 
I mean, I can't blame people who are die hard GM lovers to put the motor they know (LS1) in a Mustang that, from the factory, has a superior suspension set up for drag racing, not a glass rear end, is lighter, etc. F-bodies just aren't that great for any one thing, but Trans Ams do look nice and I will definitely own one. Taste is subjective, obviously.
At least some people have cars, though, where as your kill stories run on wishes and dreams.
