sxt = 150 hp @ the crank
srt-4 230 hp @ the wheels

I was thinking there is no way this happened then I got to the 2nd page and saw what the car actually was.

Actually the SXT is 132 @ the crank
The R/T is 150 with the "Magnum" 2.0
The SRT4 is 230 at the crank, though most know it's got a 'LS1' rating...

Default well we own an srt4

and first off the difference of an srt4 to and sxt is very noticable and the srt4 we own hits a 13.8 which i think is very good for being stock

"It's the new fad - a turbo charged 4 cyl."

Maybe it's new to you, but turbo 4-bangers have been around a long time. As I recall, Mr. Shelby put together a pretty nice turbo-4 package back in the early 80's. And of course, there's Mr. Porsche, and all his wimpy turbo-4's.

When did I say wimpy? Are you trying to tell us something? It is a new fad. Look at the SRT-4, WRX, EVO, etc.

The Omni GLHS and Charger GLHS are some of my favorite cars of the 80's. They sure are goofy looking though

Yeah Porsche is known for turbo 4s. . How many of these have left the factory? Porsche is known for the horizontally opposed 6.

If you want to argue the point for turbo 4 cylinder motors argue that BMW made 1200+ HP from a 1.5l 4cylinder...

Uhh...yes. You have to go back a few years, but before the flat-6, there was the flat-4.

The one co-designed w/ VW?
In which cars was the turbo 4 cylinder installed?
How many of them?
Where there more turbo 4's than 6's?

What is "PORSCHE" to the vast majority of people? I'd say it's the 911. That car carries a flat 6.To the best of my knowledge never a flat four.

After doing a bit of Porsche research, I've discovered the eraly 911 turbos were all flat-6's. My bad. I thought the first ones were still 4's.

That's a real solid number for what they are. I haven't ran across any of them that quick but I would like to.

well, the first 911 turbo was a flat 6... but, I think the first 911's in general were 4's... I think. Maybe that is where you got confused? I know the 911 turbo didnt come out until the 911 had been around for a while already...
