c7 vs full bolt on 5.0

5.0 driver sucks... he needs to stop using the shift buttons and put it in D

The outcome was as expected Your bro needs a 3c minimum in that 5.0. It really does make all the difference in a automatic. Especially with the way a Boss intake 5.0 wants to rev.

Here we go with the 6th gen again .. I hope you eat your words. What makes the LT1/8 speed combo THAT much better over the L99? I know the torque curve is nice... but unless they drop weight considerably it won't be "dragging that ***". L99 cars are 13 second cars all day with an occasional 12.9.

It pains me to say that Dodges Scat Pack Challenger will likely be the top dog. The SRT8 is already are a tick faster than the 5.0, with the addition of the 8 speed, and a little less weight from the Scat Pack I can see 12.0's out of it - with an occasional 11.9.

6gen is gonna scat the pak.

new vette with the 8speed is rated at 11.9 by Gm.....they said some have went faster. Even if the camaro weighs the same as it does now with the lt1/8speed hardware in it then it should go 12.5 or so bone stock. If they can shed a couple hundred lbs then you'll be looking at faster than a 12.5 outta a base v8 car.

Why would you want me to eat my words?? Erryone benefits from the performance increasing. Even though the furd guys won't like it much.

I hope the 6th gen steps up since the 5th gen is a failure. We already had the A5 392s running low 12s bone stock and in the high 11s with just boltons. I think new 8spd could hit 11s with wider tires with no tuning at all. Boy has dodge really stepped up there game lol

Seems like they have the money now for R&D for the performance division. FIAT buying them actually worked out for the best.
