c7 vs full bolt on 5.0

went to a mustang meet at the track a couple years ago. The fastest pony car there was a stock 5gen. Of course I've been back several times since also. I just thought that was a funny tid bit.

turns rock. Most say they don't care about them when they can't drive. Fact is the 5gen is a drivers race on the straights and simply obliterates the stang in the turns......so of course you guys don't want to talk about that.

One is #1 overall on the C5 ZL1 fast list for over a year, and the other just got the C5 ZL1 stick record on Friday.

These runs were done at my track, not at ATCO with mineshaft DA. lol

So maybe you should pull your head out of your *** for just a bit. Like I said I know what it takes to make a ZL1 fast.

Big hummer and his mate, hiococksucker (magazine reading heros) are still driving old rusted out shitboxes to even notice the modern world. The CURRENT 5.0 is 2-3tenths faster on avg with driver mods, its lighter and has better gears. **** the 5th gen honestly, its life is coming to an end soon thankfully. The 6th gen is still gonna look like a tired old played out bumble bee but at least it will be lighter and might trash the fusionstang in the 1320. LT1's torque curve is going to be hard to match.

There are no bolton 5th gens, NONE that are in the 10's....there are some with a cam but most are 11 sec cars with a cam and a stall....now if 5th gen owners were smart (99% are not) they would start running lower diam wheels for starts (no, most wanna have thse 20" ***** wheels to be cool yo!!) and remove as much unsprung weight as possible from this bohemoth.

Takes bolt ons for a ZL1 to keep up with a Pullied 03 cobra what's the problem here ?

and got to love Dougs double standard if you change a pulley on a Ford it's cheating but on a GM car it's still a bolt on
