No. Stop trying to think that. You think because it was supercharged and "built", it is better. When built, they are the same essentially. Stock for stock, mod for mod, boost for boost, the 5.0 is better. Don't even try to say it isn't, because it is.

Looked to me like the only thing the 5th gen has going for it is the corners still. Increased weight from the 5.0 and almost 2 mph faster than the chevy. I'm really impressed with the new Ford.

The new stang looks and sounds great IMO

The camaro's as tested price was less than the 5.0's which I found interesting

I bet this car is a ringer. American muscle tested both a 2013 and a 2015 GT Mustang; the 13' did 12.9@110 and the 15' did a very best of 13.1@109mph (never more than 109) with bad wheel hop.
Time will tell if the new GT is a true 112mph. They dynoed 370rwhp for the 15' too in the same test.
Im sure the 11-14' were faster.

yea....they're really reaching here. My bet is the yellow car was a ringer. If you look at the road course telemetry the camaro outran the black 5bro on the straights to.

Those who think 1.5 sec is not huge are mistaken on a 1.8 mile course. If they were qualifying then the mustang would not have made the race.

Fact of the matter is. If the 6th gen improves. There is going to be a lot of hurt feelings. The NEW car ford made can barely out do it in the quarter mile. Is behind it on the track. That is fact. Anyone who puts down the 5th just got their new personal jesus **** on.

The 6th doesn't even need to lose weight with the LT1 it would be pulling the new mustang on the track and in the 1/4. All Gm needs to do is not **** it up.

Did you even ready my earlier post? Go on your tube and look up 2015 Mustang GT first drives. They ALL use the SAME yellow GT mustang and drive through the mountains near Los Angeles. It was a press event and all the rags got a turn. The track day for Motor Trend was likely on a completely different day and ford had a black one they could give them. Simple as that. Your a ******* retard.

This, and as said already 1.5 seconds on a short course is a BIG difference. It was a truly apples to apples comparison.

And I guess 6 piston Brembos, revised springs, larger radiator, staggered tires and specific wheels, a strut brace, and 3.73 rear gears do not equate to a "Track Pack" if you're a Mustang ?
