Lol I Bet the stock tune on the '14 is holding it back more...

And I thought BB had a good rep for tuning GM trucks

Those 14s are no joke lol
BB is either a hit with bolt ons, once you do heads and cam etc... We had to use someone else. He had too many issues getting the tune dialed in on my buddy's Tahoe. The trans tune was pretty bad but it's running good now

Both trucks AWD? And I agree with the BB tune I'm sure it's not hurting it but could be better it's pretty much a canned tune might as well be running a handheld. I should would love to trade my 13 in on a 14.
Iv seen that Tahoe around haven't seen it run but sounds damn good.

race was lost in 1st gear: both appeared to have similiar power but the non camera truck screwed up the launch. Remember guys, 2 tenths is 2 tenths: whether it's at the beginning or end, it's still 2 tenths. By 30mph two tenths is maybe half a truck. by 100mph that same truck is still 2 tenths ahead (assuming equal vehicles of course) but that 2 tenths is represented by nearly 2 truck lengths. But it's still 2 tenths.

What all that crap means is don't blow the dammed launch people!

raptors are too big and heavy. the guy who owns the tuned EB that i ran says that he also raced a 6.2 ford and the ford just pulled him on top. so it would be close to my truck, but obviously no where close to a 14+ 6.2

You really think the 14s are better than the 13s?

My buddy has a 14 and it really is no better than my 13.

Aren't the new 6.2s gaining more power with just a tune than the old 6.2? My buddy has a new 14 with the 5.3 and it runs much better than his old 2012 he had with the 5.3. He has tuned both and said the new one to him picked up more power over the old one.

yeah the new 5.3 is a huge improvement over the old ones and have very conservative stock tuning.
