N2O is not FI, it's a massive octain booster. It's never included in the FI category. FI is when air is forced into the engine, this requires more fule and that's why high boost cars have larger fule systems.
N2O makes your engine produce more power NA. Higher octain rating allows your engine to be much more effecant. Nothing is being forced in, the engine is still NA.
There both still power adders, like islander stated above. It's just two differant ways of going about it. My .02 if it's worth anything.
