On my way to work I came acroos a red Z06. I have been dying to run one and he was actually game. He was in front of me at a light and took off pretty hard. I followed suit arming my nitrous but it wouldn't come on??? I pulled over to find my ground wire on my wot switch had come loose.

Not long afterwards a guy a talked to a few times in a black 03 Cobra comes up behind me. I told him my nitrous wasn't on and asked if he wanted to run. He agreed and we proceeded down Red Bluff Rd. We first ran from the top of second gear with me putting 1/2 a car on him. As speeds increased he began to pull on me. By the top of 4th he had around 2 cars on me. We then caught a light and I figured this was my best chance. I pulled him pretty hard through second and by the time I redlined 4th I had 2-3 cars on him but eventually he would have caught me, lol.

Btw, he only had a K&N and Flows.

Ya that was my friend in the black Cobra. We just got finished installing a Pro 5.0 shifter in it last night and took a few test passes down fairmont. Feels pretty quick. He was telling me how he raced you and that you gave him a pretty good run.

Yeah when I asked about his mods, to make sure he didn't "upgrades" since last talking to him, he pulled the shifter out of his passenger seat and told me it was going on later that night. He's a pretty cool guy and I look forward to running him as he mods more and more. I just hope I can keep up as long as possible, lol.
