There wasn't much available back then really.......most of what was available was very expensive. The cheapest headers out were the macs i had......and they were over $500 back the.
Besides.....it was never my goal to spend my last dime on a car. From 1999 to 2003 I bought my new Camaro, my new 2500 hd, a new kubota bx 22........and built a house. So i was pretty ****** busy . By the time 2005 rolled around i bought my slide in camper and my motorcycle. So as you can tell i do not focus on one thing .

There is a local guy that has one goin in the mid 80's too. I'm happy @ 75 with basic free mod ****. The ****** feels sketchy enough there.

It's not that fact that he went boosted......It's the fact how he defended the whole N/A thing and always bashed the boosted stuff saying "I like the challenge" now he changed his whole outlook since he went with the blower......He went as far to tell me my car should have been running faster than 10.73 at 131 because it had a blower on it after all his "I raced a 130mph car on the highway" ordeal

Yeah those 255s get MPH really easy. Literally all my friends have one of each, my buddy has a 2013 fzs, another 2013 rxt-x, and the other the ultra 300 with mods. Right now the ultra is infront, dominates in the chop. But i love yamaha too much to get a kawi.

And for what its worth... I still think NA **** is way cooler. But there is no real appreciation for it. Boost is substantially easier and has a lot more turn around per dollar. But I wont sit here and say the C6z didnt have its part in me going boosted. I would have liked to run it again with a tire that wasnt melting off the car. But best case scenario is we would have been side by side. Nothing really worth bragging about. To make the car go faster... I would have had to start taking away from it. And Id rather just put some full size wheels on it, lower it a bit more, and boost it. Much faster, better drivability...

Thats a very old video in that dyno he had a stock k24a2 long block with all the bolt ons. He ran door to door with a bolt on boss 302 in that trim with full interior.
The car is a completely different animal, cnc ported head, big vtec lobe cams, lots of compression, forged rods, ITBs and makes around 320-330whp.

I haven't looked at the current all motor sfwd class rules but from what i remember the class weight requirement was 2200lbs with driver, iirc. They go against the full bolt on NA coyotes. They're creeping on 140mph NA with 450whp out of a sub 3.0l 4cyl. thats more MPH then most NA SBF's retaining mostly factory components anyways.

My X is much better over all than my old Rxp was. Which I thought was strange cause there hulls are almost identical.
All the ski's are pretty damn nice and fast these days.

I heard the 300's were good in chop. My buddies new Rxt-X is better than my Rxp-x in chop......but mine rides much better if that makes any sense. My wife commented on how unstable his felt and she was just the passenger.
My X is much better over all than my old Rxp was. Which I thought was strange cause there hulls are almost identical.
