100mph on a Jet Ski is dumb. Going about 65 back in '99 around the lake through chop was PLENTY. Falling off around that speed was always interesting. Old bolt-on Tigershark Daytona 1000cc. unreliable as all get out, Flat out would fly though. The Tigershark Monte Carlo was a hole shot king. Blew everyone out of the hole with that.

I think he brought up tube chassis in order to get to that kind of weight. There is no denying the fact that the reason those I4's are running those numbers is because of the weight.

My buddy got an old Kawasaki stand up, that thing was fun but very challenging to get used too. I just rode around on my knees lol

62 chevy II weighs 2500ish. fiberglas body panels and tubes reinforcing it. 700-800 will fold the stock chasis. 2000 lbs empty with a V8 is typical. narrowed rear, etc.

Little n/a Hondo getting down, always liked the K20s.

@ "Evan said this and that a YEAR ago." I mean we all do/try things and sometimes change our minds. It's common.

Yeah, Who cares what someone said a year or 2 ago. I was hell bent on making my bolt-on LS1 hurt feelings (it already took enough cam-only cars lunch money), then boom I read an article on how easy it was to build a turbo LS and ditched the camaro.

Ended up thinking "whats the lightest, most aerodynamic, cool looking car that can easily be LS turbo swapped?" I ended up with a C5.

PS. fast wave runners are fun.... but I can't get over the sound of a 2-stroke V6 Mercury screaming at 6K pushing a bassboat north of 80mph tossing a big rooster tail as the bow is airing out.

Gotta get to that fishing spot first

Sometimes people just need hugs

If you think people are salty having gone from NA to boosted, you should have seen when I went from GM to Ford....

Think of it this way, if you would have stayed GM, you could have stayed NA, While not stealing the hit in your videos all the time.

I think I have more video proof of people actually jumping on me. lol. I dont think anyone I know or me intentionally jumps. **** happens sometimes. Unless the race is a gag... then sometimes you steal it just because that car has your number whether you do or not.

Not to mention my NA Ford was faster then my NA GTO. Sure I could have made the GTO faster. But I still had 75-90whp left in my car NA if I wanted to do a killer H/C combo. But for the price... a blower was a no brainer.

The cars gearing made all roll speeds good for the car. Not my fault the people I raced picked spots where my car is its strongest lol

Car has a lot of snap in the lower gears... so a lot of people say I jump. But I could show you a couple videos of people having a slight jump on me... and me pulling almost instantly when I hit the gas. Just the characteristics of the car. Even against the cars that were faster then me in the long run. In the lower gears... i just had more steam

Your car is light to. Physics come in to play there on the hit.

This may have just been the case on videos I saw. Not trying to take credit from the car at all. GTO I would say would have been the worst GM to try and make fast next along with the LS6/LS2 CTS-v's. Weight and IRS being the main culprits. It would most likely of taken your old GTO a 416ci LS3 and a little spray to run with what you got going on now.

Whatever it would take to match 800whp at 35XXlb race weight geared to 145mph in fourth is what it would take to match it.
