saw this video on facebook. Fast car. But they are totally sandbagging its mods. For example... there is no mention of running it on E85....but they mention installing a flex fuel kit.....hmmmm.
Bottom line... that blower sucks.
I cant remember who did the comparison... but they took the same car with the same mods... swapped to a tvs2300 and picked up 100whp.

Pullied, fuel, etc. Do you honestly think the car can get 12-15mph out of it by air intake, headers, and tune? Its just speed shop advertising 101
Its pretty obvious its on E85... but do you know how many GM nutswinging friends of mine tried selling it as a pump gas car with only those few mods.
You would be surprised how many people fall into that. Its a speed shop tactic. Do things you would do to any other car, only list your shops parts. Happens all the time.
I normally wouldnt care at all about it, but the idiots on my facebook feed are stroking this video like crazy lol

this car trapped 139. i dont see why thats hard to believe. these cars have trapped 130's 100% stock. tune help a good bit with some fuel on a blower car.

Oh im not at all hating on the actual car itself. Its def moving. Its nice to see one running good. And its sound gnarly. And e85 is the way to go. pump gas is gay. Thats why Im going on it.
Its the people who nutswing ignorantly that bother me. Like people telling me this car is running pump 93...etc.

i dont keep up with stuff like but i have seen 130 slip somewhere. but like anything else ppl lie and 90% of the cars on these list and stuff lie about mods. i personally love when 2 cars with the exact same mods fuel and all run 8-10 mph diff. its all in the tune lol. all motor cars much less power adder cars being that diff..
but i could be thinking 129.x and in my mind rounding off to 130. i just remember seeing one that trapped what my car did on motor .

agreed... they only way youre gonna get that blower to go fast... is with fuels and things to keep it cool. Its just too small. I still cant figure out why they did that. Was the ZR1 gutless down low?

The LS9s TVS2300 blower is roughly 3" taller and that would not fit under the hood of the aero package that the C7 worked quite hard on.

You can build anything around anything.... that doesnt mean the blower isnt a bottle neck. Its a poor blower choice... plain and simple.
