Its a 2001 M6 5K mile C5 with Borla exhaust. Excellent driver. My 2002 SS is M6 w/ SLP lid and factory SLP dual/dual and only 1K miles. I think the fastest we ever raced was like 0-120MPH. I dont think any faster..cars are way to fast and we had NO more room that night.

I agree 100%, the c5 could have been built on a monday/friday, and the SS maybe a Wednesday car. Or it may have been an older c5, hence no ls6 intake etc. etc. vs a newer SS. I do agree with you F-bodies are underrated for power, afterall it is the same motor. However he said they ran through 3rd and most of 4th gear...I dont know about your 4th gear, but mine takes me pretty damn close to 140mph and you can't tell me weight and aerodynamics don't play a decent part of the equation at 130+ speeds.
