You can't play that game, comparing an individuals run to a magazine test. Lets just say that GM guys have a broad definition of "stock". The FGT was never meant to be a 1/4 mile runner, yet it still bitch slapped the best that GM had to offer, and it did it with less HP, plus it did it four years earlier than GM did.

Once you get to individuals, then there are plenty of ZR1's and FGT's running in the 10's.

 

FGT was an absolute turd for the money, plain and simple.
