Cool 1st street kill

I was coming home from Moroso one night (back in March)after test n tune following my brothers ws6 on the turnpike just out side of palm beach around 1am. This white 2000ish mustang GT pull up to us & wanted to play. So my brother & him do a 60mph roll & pull's him (no biggie), Then he started to pace me so we do a 60 roll & I pull him. This is were it gets funny. The mustang get's real closes & this kid starts to yell over at me to do it from a dig. So I pull over to the side of the turnpike & about 5 ricer's follow (his posse) This guy walk to me & said I need to run u from a stop, so his boys (no bs block the south bound traffic from passing) I pulled him hard & just let off around 60. I knew he had a supercharger (I could hear it howling). But he drove by & wouldn't even look over at me, But all his boys were laughing & giving me thumbs up. It was cool, I never really ran like that on the street & probably wont again. Getting too old I guess.

Let's see here...

Blown GT's that make real power don't make it down low. High rpm is where they shine...that's if it is a fast one. So shutting down at 60mph is a bit early for the 'stang.
Chances are if was the typical high 12 second blown GT which is a waste of money IMO. I doubt it was a quick one since you pulled him from a roll.

Whatever the case, I say good kill to you sir. You pulled him from a roll so you're making more power than he is.

Thanks, I just thought if was funny becouse he just wouldn't stop trying, I have no idea what setup he had, I really didn't care if I would of lost or won just the fact that this guy couldn't deal with it. There is always someone faster..

I Agree with unit213, Supercharged Mustangs can run High 12's, But From Personal Expiriences They Have Not Impressed Me. A guy down the street has a vortech supercharged 2001 Gt, with the after cooler and I beat him from a dig to 110!

agreed. Good kill, just remember...there are some very fast stangs out there. Too many ls1's smoke a stang or two, and think they own 'em all. Find a stang owner with more brains than ego, and he'll give you a run for your money.

That's true. I went for a ride in a GT not too long ago. Like I mentioned above, it had nothing below 4,000rpm. But let me tell you...above 4 grand it was hairy. This was a 9 second car.

Too bad the ricer posse was cooler than the mustang owner.
Nice kill!
