10.5 is not a advantage on a pump gas blower car. If he was running race gas like you need then yea.....but it still wouldn't be huge.

Who here thinks 21psi on a 10.5 : 1 car pump gas car is good? The tune would have to be so lame to make it live the dyno number wouldn't even matter.
Blew myself up, eh? Nice try buddy. Meth had nothing to do with it. Bad fuel pump killed my motor the first time. It had been on 26+ PSI for two years running no problem. Second time was just **** luck. Motor showed not a shred of detonation... I have the gaskets to prove it

I think 10.5:1 on 21 PSI is fine. Probably has pretty good timing in there with the methanol. You know nothing, Hio. Sorry to have to break it to you.

BTW, you would need binoculars to see Cody after he raced you...

10.5:1 on pump with 21psi obviously isn't optimum but if the timing is low you can get away with it especially with dual nozzle meth.

I'm on 10.7:1 at 11psi and both my pump and race gas tunes have conservative timing but still makes good power with the dual nozzle meth.

Smaller cubes, and bigger blower is built in traction control.

10.5 and 20lbs and 18ish degrees is nothing with 2 M15 nozzles and VP meth...and 150-200 ghp pump.

How are you guys getting traction with that supposed power, and not E.T. Streets. My car would turn around on the freeway without them.

Methanol inj. helps raise octane up to pretty much 110+

Edit: with 93 pump that is.

Last time I tried racing on street tires in my old 5.0 on full tilt at 713whp I got sideways in 2 lanes soon as I punched it on a 60 roll.

But did you almost take out a flagger while trying to do a burnout?

Lol....took ya a second power adder and race gas to get that furd oyt on a bolt-on ls6.

Meth does not equal race gas......no matter how many nozzles it has.

Doug says so many dumb things that it's impossible to capture them in one post.

At the end of the day, he's salty the FI GM lost to a Mustang. Ouch.

It takes FI for Ford to outrun GM. Yet FI GM still loses to FI Ford.
This is about as generic as a lot of his bias statements. Lol

Putting words in my mouth. None of what I said was equivalent to saying that methanol + 93 = race gas. But its pretty damn good for not being race gas. There are many benefits to methanol. Increased octane, decreased intake temperature, which allows for more timing and an increased knock threshold. In a dyno comparison, I imagine it would be hard to find a difference between meth/race gas. In fact...
