I just like proving stereotypes wrong. A lot of mustang guys think the 5th gen is a turd. I think otherwise. I have raced several 11-14 5.0s and havent had too much trouble with them. Id like to run a 15' and put the "faster" theory to the test.

I'm sure there are unreasonable people out there, but there really is no reason that a 1LE and a Mustang II shouldn't be a driver's race. I don't think Hammer's vids of the 15 losing by an excessive amount are any more a representation of reality than the guys that act as though the SS was nowhere near as fast as a Yote. The SS was slower, but not by some huge margin.

Didn't you beat a intake/muffler 5.0 by a fender in your intake/header/tune fifth gen?

Looks like it's a drivers race with the 11-14s

I'd take a 5.bro... Got vid to prove at least 1 encounter so far, although it has been more than one so far.

They move out a bit harder than people give em credit for. I think a 5.0 faster than Fbody stock for stock, and faster than SS L99 and LS3 stock for stock. I think facelifted 1LE and '15 is a drivers race.

Its p[ossibel that it could. Id have to look it up but I know the Grandsport (dad has one) has the Zo6 Body and wheel base, just minus the ls7 and the aluminum frame.
