I ordered the Cobra Jet cams and trying to buy a set of Boss heads since I have the 11-12 coyote. MMR claims 10-14rwhp with their stage 3 heads and near 35rwhp if I get there cams. No way I'll drop $6500 for 35rwhp lol
Welcome to Fordville where internal mods are at least $200\hp

MMR? bud you better look into their low quality, ripping off customers, manufacturing bullshit that doesnt work before you go with them for a m6 screw.

We typically pick up 80-100 hp with our CNC head, custom camshaft, header combo. It is a good size project and the cars perform great.
We grind camshafts for your requirements
We offer cylinder head porting for the Coyote Heads, Boss Heads and even the 15+ heads
We can port your castings or sell you some outright
Setting the car up with the proper header makes a huge difference as well.
We have made over 600 RWHP n/a with these engines.
The HP per cube is amazing.

600whp with a little NA 5.0 is crazy! Got any vids of some of the cars making that power?

It is crazy.... I'd like to see a dyno graph overlay against a 600rwhp LS7 to see the difference in torque and area under the horsepower curve.

I think I read about that build. They can certainly correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was a 8,000 rpm 5.2 liter, not crazy compression, something like 12 or 12.5 to 1. Pretty neat.

HP/CI means nothing. Just ask any knuckle dragger in here.

HP/CI is cool, it's just not a figure that is easily compared from one engine to another. A 4v DOHC engine with vtc and such *should* be more efficient than a 2v/singlecam/pushrod engine in power per liter. However, it's necessarily bigger and heavier at the exact same displacement, so you typically end up with a smaller displacement DOHC engine vs a larger displacement pushrod engine when you're comparing these two engines that will fit in the same car/engine bay.

This is why, at least in my mind, a more "functional" comparison would be power per pound (weight of engine) or power per cubic inch (volume of space the engine takes up in the engine bay).

Either way, 600whp in a 5.0 is badass. I'd love to see more details and the dyno readout.

I wanna see ET slips Dyno sheets before doing any business with Livernois
I have zero respect for Livernois due to Andy. But like I said I'm not pushing the coyote like I will my 5th gen.
