Default Should i do it?

There is this guy with a new supercharged roush mustang. We were both talking **** and are probably going to race for some big bucks. Does anybody think i can beat him? Im pretty sure its a stage 3 but not exactly sure, i dont know jack about stangs. Were racing up in colorado high altitude and the best i have run is 14.1 at 100.4 with a 2.0 60ft on et streets. thanks

Try a friendly race, they are so much easier on your wallet

damn i first saw that 14 sec pass and then i noticed you are in CO....

try a friendlier race like mentioned before. It will be very close, but go stick a nice little shot of gas on the car and pretty much pay for it with his money

It will be close. I have raced one and lost. I had him in 1st, when he hit 2nd him and his supercharged glory flew past me. When I raced him I had borla, lid, predator tune, stage 4 clutch master, 275 BFG KDWS <---not great traction.

You have headers it will be a little closer. If you had a cam I'd say with some decent driving youd def. take him. if you really are racing him for 'big bucks' just get some nitrous and be done with it.

Rousch Stage III, is that FI?? if he is FI I would just hold on to my cash and make it friendly..actually I would just do friendly regardless. Ive never raced for cash... N/A vs FI in that altitude...forget it.

Yup, FI gives him a decent advantage at your altitude.

The performance specs, I guess, were at or close to sea level. You could do the math from there.

I havnt but I know a guy that raced one. From what I've gathered it is pretty much an equal for an 03/04 Cobra.

I think im going to have to get my cam installed before i decide to race this guy, may even do a dry 100 shot on top of that to make him look like a jackass.

I challenged a 02/03 SVT Cobra (could've been a clone?) going up I-81 yesterday. It had all the badges and correct wheels, I just didn't hear any blower whine...or maybe my turbo was whistling too loud to hear his little blower. At first he wouldn't bite, then he hit it. I was in "D" and at about 3,000 rpm so my turbo was already spinning nicely. He tried 2 more times and each time I put about 2 cars on him. The last time he pulled up, he wouldn't look over for a few seconds, then when he did I just shrugged my shoulders and smiled. The grandpa' beater Buick puts the sleeper hold on another unknowing victim! hahaaa...

with a cam and a 100 dry shot, you will have no problem wiping the floor with the shitstang
