Cobr0 vs 408 CamEro

Exactly. Since when are all XXX c.i. builds the exact same and run the exact same? Some people do things differently and on different budgets. There is NO such thing as XXX c.i. should run a certain way just because it's XXX cubes.

I'm not sure where to find it or who all makes them but here is one that is carb

Nashville sir.
Haha good eye.... I think you might be right!
I got mine for a good deal, but honestly the price on these swaps vary so much. f150 engines are still the way to go unless you can find a deal like I did. I have a friend who f150 swapped his and did the entire thing including upgrading to a t56 for 6500.
There are a lot of ways to cut costs such as keeping the factory oil pan, not running a/c etc. The F150 engine is so incredibly similar to the mustang one and considering you can pick one up for ~2k they are definitely the way to go.

Then the car is a complete dog, just like I said. A 408 Camaro with those mods should be making at least 520whp. No 520whp F body, a car that should trap around 130, gets paced by a 120-121mph car unless the driver is incompetent or the car isn't really making that much power for whatever reason, be it a horrible tune or mechanical issues. This would be like a basic pullied Cobra running door to door with a bolt on C6Z. I'm just trying to understand why that camaro is way slower than it should be.

With out a dyno graph its hard to tell if it makes good under the curve power, or its just a peak numbers dyno queen. But I have heard good things about who speced the cam so who knows. And I would say for what info we have on paper there is no reason he shouldnt have won, or been able to crack a 10second quarter at 127+, But its not on paper its on video lol

But with that being said, I go to the track on a bias ply slick, mph is always lower, I have nothing to hide. The car had a best trap of 122. And I yank pulley cobra's, Have videos of that too. And you have no idea how much is left in mine lol the gearing in it is terrible right now. Quit acting like you know it all

Yeah for sure, I know while this one was very close, the next 408 car I came up to might drag me, every setup is slightly different. I know the tune isnt the issue at all as it was done by Shortuning. But anything can happen on the street. A lot of people don't keep that in mind
