It could drop out for many reasons besides a gear ratio.

For instance the biggest "hole" in an mt-82 car is the 2-3. Even then my factory limiter 27" tall tire 3.31 car drops to around 4900-5k. Besides that shift every other gear has less fall back. How does the average coyote power band look right there? It's not the gearing and it is the gearing.. For it to be helpful, it needs to be used properly.

Im no new camaro but wouldnt mind getting a run in vs a Boss manifold 5.0. I have ran some other 5.0s with decent results... I do need some rear tires first though, current ones are toast.

How is the 5.0 running? Have you done anything to it yet?

In all honesty, I think the stang has a slight edge due to the lighter plataform and great power for mods return. Ford finally, did an excellent job on an NA engine. A good owner/driver can make a difference for the 5th gen though. It also comes down to who has the most efficient mods.

I dont know if i Can make the Saturday C&C, might have my kids. Thats why i will most likely got o the one in Austin but i might figure something out. OTD i payed 565 shipped and heat treated. Not bad i think. He matched the tires at 260 where i found them cheapest.
