I didn't know Mappins had 3.42s.
Bitches about gearing, has a better performance gear ratio than the stock 2.73 or 3.23 the auto cars come with.
I'll agree, 3.42s are perfect with 4l60. I hated my 3.73 on my 4l60 on the highway.

It takes more skill in launching a car from a dig than a roll though and 60' is up there in my book of where performance shines.
I prefer dig races but also enjoy roll racing too. I can see why a lot of people like roll racing though, because of random encounters and just running the ***** off your car to 150+. I just think the track will give you a better all around picture of the driving skills and the cars performance capabilities.
Either way, it's all good and only an opinion
