GM could have just put LS6's in the F bodys. Or LS2's. I guess the GTO is the reason why they stopped making the cobros.

I've never met a fast gto tbh. not bashing but it seems a 500hp gto is still slow unfortunately... was looking to buy one but kinda glad I didn't, would've been a more refined car than my ws6 but still.

GTO's are unbearably slow. Decent engine in the 05's-06's, but just didn't perform like 400hp should have.

GTO's were fat.... but not as fat as 5th gen's. I loved my 04 as a DD best seats GM ever put in a car. LBO it ran low 12's wheel hopping like a bitch haha

LS2 GTO is a driver's race with an 03 cobra and a new coyote. How is that "unbearably slow"??

He should feel fortunate. Best I've seen from a bone stock car here is 14.5. Correct it to sea level and it would be about 13.5-13.6. I am not impressed one bit by them.
