Haven't posted here in a while, my car was down getting the transmission built and a new clutch. I was having my clutch stick, had to granny shift every gear and then eventually got stuck in 4th. So now all those problems are gone and I'm out racing again.

Last weekend I destroyed a 2016 5.0 with exhaust (which was expected)... I've raced a 488hp Evo multiple times and I pull him by about 2 cars and the faster we go the worse it gets...I beat a scatpack real bad... I raced a 2.3 whipple cobra from 40-130ish and we were neck and neck, will be racing again with video.. I lined up with a 13 gt500 that was pullied and full exhaust but I assume he just spun because he fell back and didn't catch me (I know that car would be faster than me)

So a quick thread before I post my real racing stories with videos, I have a race against a heads/cam/intake c5z coming up and a kenne bell cobra, the whipple cobra again and many others.

Here's a couple videos testing out the clutch to make this thread less boring lol my car is cam only, intake and full exhaust.

I bought my 2nd C5Z about 2 months ago (stock) and was on the fence about doing an Ls7 swap with heads and cam etc, After getting everything budgeted out I decided to sell it (leaving next week to new buyer) and look at a few different options. Your car sounds badass btw, Can't wait to see the runs coming up.

Thanks guys. And I'm debating putting a blower on or saving up for a nice down payment on a c6z instead.

 

Cammed C5Z with a blower is one nasty beast. So the blower has my vote!

I'll race anyone lol. I like to compare to other cars, my car isn't fast so I don't care if I lose. Looking to race a stock c6z real bad to see how that goes.

Lol yeah, I thought I was going to keep this one a while and mod it but damn coming from the modde V wagon to this (stock) it feels ultra slow. I sold the V and srt8 Jeep to fund a huge dp on a new house thats way less expensive than my current house (gunna lease it out). I missed having a fun car and jumped on the C5Z as a replacement but I decided to sell it and wait and get what I really want after I move . Thinking a 13/14 gt500, blown C7 manual, 6th gen manual (blown), or 15-16 5.0 blown lol. I just miss being boosted, Hell I wouldn't even mind a manual Chevy ss sedan too for that matter.
