Must be because I have a inefficient old 2v LT1 but E85 was the last mod I have done to my car and I instantly felt a part throttle power difference and torque. Further changing the injector offsets in my car after converting it made just as big of a difference as initially switching it over. Felt about like the gain when I put the LS1 lid on and Chris1313 ram air. I would guess it picked up 10-15whp and at least that torque wise. Car would hardly ever spin the 275/60 Mickeys in second gear and now it will do it if it is 60 out or 85-90 degrees repeatedly. I would think the 5.0 wouldn't pick up as much being it's VE is already high having a 4 cam engine though. One big part about E85 is you can burn a higher volume of fuel and the vaporization temp is higher resulting in higher VE. Maybe it helped my stock castings draw in more air for the amount of lift I am running. Who knows. Quit sandbagging Bro's. If it wasn't worth doing people wouldn't do it. Also makes the car more consistent/less heat soak.

Such misleading rhetoric is the problem lol. People keep saying its a small gain.
Yes probably around 10-15 hp gain over an existing 93 tune.
But call it like it is...e85 tuned 5.0 compared to stock is a ~30rwhp gain. Simple as that. In no way, shape or form is that a small difference.
Just look at what they run. Mid 12's at best stock. High 11's with e85 and a tire. Yeah...such a small difference.

More under the curve. Peak numbers don't always tell the whole story.

Well I might be testing that theory soon. Might put it on the same dyno on 93 sometime. Might be a few hp difference due to different days but will be able to see some stuffz

11-14s need injector upgrade to run the new flex tunes

Yeah but I want to see for myself man.. I might go to the dyno on 93 octane.. then run to the E85 location(about 30mins from the dyno) and top the car off, go back and dyno on E85 same day.. I have to do it like that to get the E% higher. With the left over 93 in the tank, it slightly dilutes the E85 down.
From my highly calibrated booty dyno, there is not a huge difference. Car feels pretty much VERY close to as fast on 93. And I have tried both fuels alot.

Gotcha, you have any plans to go big with that thing? Didn't you mention turbos at one point?
