Good pulls, I may have missed it but how did you do against the 2015 car?

Nice job on the other Shelby race too!
Yeah, a Pulley/Tune Shelbro can move out. The 07-09's had weight against them. My 2012 Shelby made 558rwhp SAE with just a 2.6 upper pulley, and dyno tune. Still had OEM CAI setup.

Was there a weight difference between the different years on the Shelby? I'm actually hoping to line up with my buddy's 08 Shelby...me n/a of course

I think the 07-09s were 3900-4000lbs. The 2011+ had aluminum block shaving 100lbs off motor alone. I put my 2012 on a truck scale and it weighed 3800lbs without me in it.

Ok I didn't realize the new models were a tad lighter. Have you ran yours at the track yet?

I don't have the Shelby anymore. Not great at the track with crappy 555r drag radials... those cars need slicks. Had 2013 TVS on it @ 690rwhp. Hell of a highway car. Took out a couple h/c/i/e C6Zs.

I have run my S550.. best so far 11.81, best trap 117.4

Thanks. I didn't trade the Shelby for the 5.0.. traded it for a 2013 Fusion . Bought another house, and needed to prioritize remodeling. cheaper car helped. Finished most of the house, got the speed bug again, and traded the Fusion for the 5.0

I see. That makes sense. From what I've seen the S550 can actually handle boost really well. Probably could make similar power as the Shelby couldn't it?

The 2015+ 5.0 can actually handle much more power SLB than the 5.4/5.8 Shelby motors reliably. The Shelbys were good to 750ish rwhp on the 5.4 and 800ish on the 5.8 to still be safe. 800-900 SHouldnt be a problem on a new 5.0.. although me personally, I would build the motor anyway at that level. No sense in pushing a SLB just to say "Hey!! SLB!!" Who cares.... just go faster and don't blow it up.

I don't have long tubes, but it is on E85, catless X, ported boss and a catback.

The ported boss was a good investment. It took me about 10 hours to do the work myself, just going slow with a dremel. I added E85 at the same time and switched to AED for a tune and I gained 4+ mph in trap speed (113.78 to 118.09).

I would like headers but I'm scared of the install lol. Im sure it would help gain back some low end torque.
