It's not big enough. Nothing dumb about it......unless you don't understand how this stuff works. You obviously don't. The 2.3 ain't big enough and certainly the the blower on the lt4 is to small. I get gm hit their hp goals with them which is very good with such small blowers and low boost. But none of those blowers shoukd be used on a high performance ls or lt unless it's in a truck application.

The real world results don't match the claim that the 1.9 and 2.3 are too small.

I was told the ls9 not the lsa. As a matter of fact they were wanting to use the lt4 but it would not fit so they are going with the ls9. I could be wrong but it blew my mind when I heard ls9 not lsa, my info is from someone who works in Detroit for gm (although it's made in Australia) .

Yeah, it's all over the webz. The LS9 is too expensive and would place the already overpriced, vs the SRT competition, out of the target audience pricing. As it stands, it is slower than the 392 SRTs/Scat Packs and with the LS9 it would be priced with the Hellcats. The LSA is cheaper to manufacture and would still keep it close to the price of the SRTs target buyers while providing better performance. IMO

Sis gen camero sales really haven't been great. Maybe GM has priced themselves out of the market.

In comparison to the g8 gt they obviously have a lot more *****, but performance is only marginally better than the g8 GXP. Thankfully they addressed some of the g8 quality issues though
