It's not big enough. Nothing dumb about it......unless you don't understand how this stuff works. You obviously don't. The 2.3 ain't big enough and certainly the the blower on the lt4 is to small. I get gm hit their hp goals with them which is very good with such small blowers and low boost. But none of those blowers shoukd be used on a high performance ls or lt unless it's in a truck application.

If it isn't big enough, why is the quickest and fastest application using a ported stock blower?

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't this V also have 200-250shot on top of the blower?

It does have a shot, yes, but many with 2.3 and larger blowers have a shot as well but are still going slower.

The real world results don't match the claim that the 1.9 and 2.3 are too small.

Yeah, it's all over the webz. The LS9 is too expensive and would place the already overpriced, vs the SRT competition, out of the target audience pricing. As it stands, it is slower than the 392 SRTs/Scat Packs and with the LS9 it would be priced with the Hellcats. The LSA is cheaper to manufacture and would still keep it close to the price of the SRTs target buyers while providing better performance. IMO

Very true. I always thought the Dodge offerings were a bit overpriced but now with their straight line performance close to the 6G and price point near the same, they are formidable competition. Them beating the Camaro in sales is a good sign of this.

Sis gen camero sales really haven't been great. Maybe GM has priced themselves out of the market.

0% for 72 should help but the first month that was offered sales for them got even worse. Hopefully they have rebounded a bit.

Yup, you are correct. I was just shooting the **** with my buddy and the ls9 idea was indeed scrapped and it will have the lsa and only available as a manual. That is kickass to me, It is close to somebody picking up an lsa blower and adding it along with a lsa or ls9 cam to a 14-16 ss so really no significant upgrade imho vs the ls9. It is still nice to see a 4 door rwd V8 with a manual and a blower from the factory.

In comparison to the g8 gt they obviously have a lot more *****, but performance is only marginally better than the g8 GXP. Thankfully they addressed some of the g8 quality issues though

If i were in the market for a family car, the SS is the only car i would buy.
