Gen 1 CTSV vs ZL1
ZL1 is bone stock and the V has headers.

WTF you guys think it looks right that a 400hp heavier car hangs right with a lighter car with 560hp?!?! That ZL1 should have thrown cars up on the 1st gen V. Was the ZL1 driver a noob or just a boob?

first gen CTS-V's run low/mid 13's @ 108mph stock. Headers (and tune I assume) could maybe knock that down to high 12's @ 110mph. ZL1's run low 12's @ 116mph. And, unlike apparently most in here, I've ran numerous versions of both these cars in my GTO and the results agree with the mag times.
The ZL1 should have waxed it, period. Gotta love street racing where skill (or lack of it) can notably affect and even decide a race instead of guys arguing magazine numbers at a Starbucks.

I have raced both with the same mods as both in this thread. V1 had long tubes and straight pipes and the 14' ZL1 was stock and a six speed. When the Scat pack just had a CAI I ran the V from 35-120 giving him the nod and put 3 1/2 on him. Ran a stock ZL1 after I deleted the cats on a even start I barely edged him out down low. Within a car length.

I just haven't seen it in person. Idk if it is the average Camaro owner is an inferior driver to a V2 owner or what. V2s just seem to perform better here at the 1/4 than the rare 5G that actually races

I didn't know about the race mode until I read the owner's manual. If it's not in PTM 4/5, the power is restricted.

If all the drivers do is start the car, they are automatically in PTM 2.
This is what the driver will see depending on which screen they are on however, it doesn't tell you what mode you are in anywhere unless you are physically changing the modes. Only after you have made a mode change will it tell you and only in one screen. Mode two is displayed as the initial mode after starting and I'm looking at the mode change display. The mode change location is not located with the display settings. The driver has to go to the traction control buttons on the console and search the modes on screen using the T/C buttons.
I accidentally loaded the pictures in the reverse order...
