You say that, but I raced my dad in my GTP and their CTS on the way to my grandmother's funeral(I know but he started it). He beat me by half a car, and he never let me live that **** down up until the day he died lol
Lol you may have a point there. Hopefully man dad would rejoice quietly if he wins lol. The sport mode in this Mustang is definitely more aggressive than the one in the Genesis, but of course the Genesis has the 8 speed auto vs my 6 speed.

For the record, I never lost to any V6 mustangs when stock. Might want to hope he spins and bogs. The Genesis traction control is a BITCH. Even turned off, it still takes over

All this talk is making me really anxious to push him to run me now lol. I kinda thought I'd pretty much edge him out, but from what you're saying it sounds like it could be the other way around. That makes me much more ambitious to try it now

I'm just poking you trying to get you to run him lol. Either way, it'll be fun for sure. Fun runs are more fun than serious one. Plus. If he decides to tune it, you'd be a good baseline for him

Ok I've seen some of these races before, but I guess I didn't realize you were stock in them. You're right though....your car did in fact beat that V6 Mustang fair and square from what I could see. I'm starting to realize what a nice sleeper these cars are lol. What's the typical rwhp of these cars stock, any idea? I'm wondering if they are underrated a little

From what I've read, they dyno around 278whp stock. So it seems about right. Maybe it's just the gearing and the 8 speed behind it. I've read they have 3.90 gears. If they didn't have such a conservative trans tune on these things, they'd run a lot better. But can't really complain about a 4000lb car with sub 300tq running with and beating some of the cars it has

Yep I read read they have a 3.90 gear as well. Combined with the 8 speed I'm sure that's a big part of why they do so well. Most 8 speed autos don't have anywhere near that aggressive of a gear. I agree 278 at the tire sounds about right for the stock 333 hp rating

Holy ****! Someone knows where pampa is??? I've been here my entire life. Maybe we know each other lol. Yeah you'd be surprised of some of the cars in this town. Just seen a blue convertible Lambo Murciealago(sp?) go down Hobart this morning.

It has to be the 8 speed. For it to be down 40hp from the 4.6, yet be .1 faster is saying something.

The G8 video I cracked up with you watching yourself pull away from it.

When you learned over to check the mirror it should have started playing the,"Where Dey At Tho!" Lol!
