I get ya, I don't understand why they are so caught up in your car and the whole situation. I'm saying once you get your car at 100% it will be nice to watch them run. Once the video of your car idling and running was posted, that whole entire group was silent lol.

I have no idea why they are so wrapped up in it. I have no idea what most of their cars run, and I don't care. The thing I don't like is they are making it out like I'm pretending to be the fastest thing around and it's making its rounds with the actual fast guys. I don't need that ****. I just wanna enjoy the hobby and get some friendly racing in.

I'd absolutely love a V. They are such bad *** cars. Win or lose, you still win.

They are good cars. Surprisingly, I have not had anyone try me when I am out cruising around here in Lincoln. No one in Omaha either, but I am not there much.

That is surprising. Everyone knows what they are and that they get down.

Go race retardfury. Even if you have a crap tune, your car should run low 11's which is a second faster than his turd.

They are surprisingly boring looking cars and I find it hard to get challengers in it as well.

V2s are boring looking but with their values rebounding kind of wish I would have spent the high 20's/low 30's for one in early 2015 instead of my car.

Was 24 and didn't want a sedan. Coupe V2s are hideous.

Values rebounding? LOHfuckingL. They are continuing to plummet faster than the titanic.

And yes, the coupe is awful looking.

Back then I could pick up a low mile 30k mile V2 sedan for high 20's. Now it's like 80k miles for the same ****.

Maybe they have adjusted a bit since I last looked.

I would race him for fun, but I don't have any reason to head back up to Norfolk.

I like the fact that the V2 is slightly boring looking, but that is probably the real reason nobody wants to race.

Maybe a salvage title that you were looking at. The prices have certainly NEVER rebounded up.

Was always looking at clean title vehicles. This was in late 2014/early 2015 when they could be had for dirt cheap.

When I was on the search for mine, there was a V2, 2013 or 2014 I think, in Silver Lake, (near Topeka) Kansas. Now, I was skeptical from the beginning because it had like 22,000 miles and the guy only wanted like $26,000 for it, but I had to be in Fort Riley anyways for Army stuff so I took a test drive. I was unable, you probably would have been unable to tell it was a salvage title from the way it drove. Whoever put this car back together did a stellar job. He showed me pictures of the before, and it looked like someone had smacked into the car at a decent speed.

Needless to say, the price was very attractive, but the thought of resale after I was done with it scared me off. I ended up getting a slightly older V2 with almost twice the miles and around $10,000 more, but it had a clean title with only one previous owner.

Yeah, I ran carfax reports on all of the vehicles I looked at. Not saying that wouldn't stop some from repairing and not disclosing.

My current Br0 was a repo/auction car.

Sorry, wasn't happening unless it was the deal of the decade and you missed it. It certainly would NOT have been the norm. They have been on a steady downward spiral since leaving the lot.

About 4 or 5 cars back then I verified were as I said.

Now granted, had to travel for those deals.

More than likely scams. I'd love to tell you that at some point these things were going back up in value, but it just simply isn't the case. Like I said, a steady downward spiral. A pretty quick one at that.

Retardfury, my times from last year on both of my cars aren't hard to find. You aren't walking ****. When you can beat a nearly stock 2V, let me know. I'll find a stock CTS-V out your way to run. Low 12's will be the next step up for you, kid.
