6G a8 over L99 is like Coyote over 3v. GM did a great job.

 

No I said drivers race, which doesnt mean it won at all...It means it was a close race determined by driver. Quit being so angsty the big bad 5.0 is a drivers race with that pig of a 5g.

Yes and it's ok to make excuses for the GM car; such as not set up proper and driver error.

 

It was a fun night with my friend 5.0 but we will run again after I get tires. I bought Michelin mpss and they're not working at all from second gear pull, they're spinning pretty bad even me doing a burnout before race. I had to run with traction control on to avoid my car getting loose after trying to race with traction off but car kept spinning , I should've not race at all but the adrenaline was already there and go pro recording so said **** it. I'm looking at the toyos R888s or Hankook ventus Rs3 s or maybe 555Rs 305s. The 5.0 runs hard, one of the healthiest ones here locally.

 

Black mach 1, once I get better rubber we gotta run again hopefully soon to see how things go this time around!

Traction control on takes a little out of 5gens too. My bet with it off it's you by 1-2

Definitely felt the bog on the 3-4 shift

 

But the 5.0 did win this round, good close run nonetheless. Might do the intake rod mod and the 3 " inch x pipe. Currently running tsp 2" long tubes with stock npp. Did the 2 inch long tubes since I bought a lsa blower kit that will be along with h/c next year. I just want to enjoy the all motor bracket for a little before going to big boys bracket.

 

Bambino needs to go back to the 5.bro crew, so he can keep racing from 3K rpms and with traction control on...

I guess since the coyote's trans was made of glass, he had to get into a car that wouldnt break on him...
