ugh... toyota tercel riced me.... so I am at the light and next to me is a beat-up tercel (for those who don't know its a 90 hp econo-beater) no wings, fart cans or anything. Light turns green and I go really slow-like. next thing I know the dude guns it and his engine sounds like it is about to jump out of the hood. That's cool, I keep RPM under 2k and "put" half a block on him before letting off for the speed limit. Then I hear this awful sound of an engine about to die and see the guy catching up in my rearview. Ok a flyby in the making (by a freaking tercel 
). I wait for him to catch up to my rear and go WOT to match his speed - HE IS DOING 60 in 30mph zone. After I put another half a block on him, I slow down for the yellow light about to go red, he does not even slow down, catches up, cuts me off and blows the red light
if there was a point that dude was trying to make, it's lost to me
does that happen to anyone else? like totally slow cars trying to "race" you?

Had a Sunfire buck up to me in Beaumont on my way home from NOLA one day. Little ****** just kept buzzing and buzzing. I was doing about 55, went from 6th to 4th and handed his *** to him. He proably would have **** his britches if I had dropped to 2nd.
