Doors you could no doubt save alot but should have a cage to run because of no door bars. Likely be really tuff to get a windo in it and have it work and seal right. Be little to no savings in the fenders. Hoods can very greatly depending if pin on/hindged/full carbon/fiberglass. Hatch has some savings but mostly in the class to lexan. Bumper covers not alot either.
But if you did it all it would be a good savings just $ and be a race car.

Most of this "carbon" stuff is fibreglass. Real carbon stuff is pricey. Like $1000+ for a hood. The doors would probably be nearly $2000 each for real carbon stuff you could use that wouldn't be flimsy crap.
Carbon roofs for a fcar is $1200 shipped from mwc.

That's bad ***. The real carbon stuff.
I talked to VFN about possibly making doors that would accept roll up windows. They're a nice shop so they were interested but I didn't feel like doing it yet. I'll probably do it later. Good for a track car for sure. I noticed a lot of the track cars run a one piece front end, bumpers and fenders come off as the same piece. Lose a few lbs and makes it easier to service the car too. But if I went that far I'd fully delete my cowl also, instead of just partial like I have now. Big weight savings in a lightweight pin on hatch and lexan rear window also but then you lose a lot of function for a daily. Definitely a couple hundred more pounds I could drop with body panels and lexan for my boosted car. I know of two other 4th gens personally that weigh less than me. One is 2200# and the other is 2300#. Both have lexan and some of the body panels but have heavier cages and A2W intercoolers etc.
For the street it's not real hard to get a 4th gen to 3k lbs without all that. My other WS6 is 3048 and I have a few other weight mods to do. But no PS, no AC with that weight and I have heavier than stock brakes up front for now.
