2015 mustang gt vs 2017 charger 392

Not necessarily
The Challenger has an official top speed of 199 miles per hour while the Charger is able to hit 204 miles per hour…making the Charger faster. The Challenger runs an NHRA certified 11.2 quarter mile with the 8-speed and the stock tires while the Charger runs an NHRA certified 11.0 with the same transmission and tires – again making the Charger faster.
EDIT: Almost positive they are not the same "frame" either, its shortened almost 7" from a charger unibody

Same lx chassis
Top speed could be better bit better aero. Traction on stock tires could be better being heavier.
Other than that if you really want to think extra weight with same drivetrain and gearing is faster go ahead. Private owner times show the challenger the quickest when you get a DR. It's the exact same hp tranny and gearing with extra weight. Not following any possible advantage other than aero and possibly stock tire traction
We were also talking about the Scat packs. I have seen both at my track. The challenger has been faster. And obviously it will be. Damn near same cars but one is lighter. Pretty simple

Are Chargers faster than Challengers?
Have battled a few 392 Challengers but only one Charger, and it only said "Hemi" on fender.
Not well versed on year models and specifics, but I roll into these random, after-work runs and do it.
They all lost, but I have a low powered Honda, so no illusions of grandeur here.
Yes, they knew we were racing, Dicks

Good to see folks in Miami. Maybe we go to WPB on a cool Saturday. Sometimes there is an errant one in May. Otherwise, November.

Edit: BTW... get a BMR CB005 cradle lockout kit and BMR vertical link asap especially with the manual... eliminates most wheelhop which will kill the stock axles in a heartbeat.

Corsa seems to have the best one for no drone. I like my Stainless works h-pips setup. Stock quiet exhaust wasn't on mine long after I bought it.
