Default 2016 SS vs 1993 vette

Buddy bought a 40th anniversary vette all stock wanted to see how it would do against the SS before he modded it . My car is intake only first run is a 0-100 wheel hop was bad for me and he spun to . Second run 30-130 I think he did good for what he has .

Those lt1 c4s really were underrated for their time as far as speed goes.

My 1995 C4 A4 car ran 13.78 @ 100 mph. Bone stock and on street tires.

Some bolt ons on them and they scoot. I've seen a few locally here match my old lt1 ws6's times with minimal work in the same crappy DA. Power:weight

Agreed with this. Intake manifold and TB is a waste on LT1. Only really benefit is a h/c car and even small gains then.

Stall would be beneficial too...in fact, probably be the best bang for the buck.

All the bolt-ons in the world won't help your friend until he ditches those 2.59 gears. Tell him to go with at least 3.54s.
