i cared at the time. The car got exceptional gas mileage. 31 mpg at 62 mph vs about 15 with 3.90's. anyone who has to pay for gas cares. I only have an 18 mile trip to work now, or those 2.73's would be staying in the car regardless of ET. I drive the car everywhere I go. The coyote is parked with the battery disconnected.

My daily isn't so bad on diesel, about $55 every 2 weeks. Im in traffic alot if i wasn't im sure it would get better.

not reliable? i havent looked into that. i wouldnt mod it at all. i love northstar engines. 4.4 or not.

In his defense, that northstar isn't the same as the ones that blow head gaskets left and right. seen them run decently reliable as long as they're not modded. no real aftermarket for that kinda **** with a STS-V anyway

I love caddy's. We currently have two Northstar DeVilles. This makes 4 we have owned. No serious problems from any of them. I have to go by my personal experience with them. I have no intentions of modding a sts-v if I get one.

The mark8 is pretty good besides the valve spring failures. I happen to love that engine boosted. Mark8's block and heads Italian castings. The heads were cast in Dickson tn. I worked at that plant.
