My 99 trans am vs 00 z28 I work at AutoZone (yeah yeah) a few months ago, dude comes in with a beautiful red z28 Camaro, cammed with a TSP 224R.. Sounded great, cool dude, talked about our cars for about 20 mins before I had to get back in.
My car, just bolt on trans am, FTRA, lid, long tubes, ORY.
Just got my chance to pull up next to him today 😁. Didn't know it was him, just saw a red Camaro whip outta Walmart. Cars ahead of me all pulled off and he was still at the light in the left lane, and all clear in my lane. I saw it was him and thought, ****, imma get my *** handed to me lol. So I just rolled up looked over, have him the nod lol. Light turns green, I just rolled into it, as did he, but then heard him hit it, so I did too. SAT side by side with him through 2nd gear and we let off before the curve in the road.
He rolled up next to me, says to, wanna run em on the straight? I was like yeah, I'll follow you, so we turned off find a straight stretch. I pulled out, he yelled 25 roll, so I hit 1st, get up to 25 next to him. He hit it, so then I hit it, but he'd already jumped about half a car. Ran through 3rd, he was about 2 cars up on me. Lol. But it was fun

His is auto.. and we have opposite rears.. I blew my 3.43 10bolt last year, swapped it with one I found on Craigslist from an auto with the 3.23 gears, he swapped his 3.23 for a 3.43 and he's trying to find someone to install the 3.90 gears he bought.
