I had a 2000 GTP sedan as my daily driver for about 10 years. It had a pulley, CAI and a canned (pcm) tune. It was a quick car until it hit 3rd gear...then most other muscle cars would pass it. I did love to surprise the Z cars and Porsche Boxster guys though. I had the GMPP suspension kit which made it handle much better and it was a very reliable car. Looking back on it now, I should've driven it for another 5 years before I traded it in. Doh!

I was following my buddy to his place tonight and we decided to line them up. Went from a dig to about 100. I slowly sank the pedal to the floor to avoid lighting the tires up. The GTP took him him by about 5 or 6 cars. He was pretty surprised by how quick the GTP is off the line too. His 5.br0 is completely stock and an auto. And that's all she wrote, folks!
