That turbo 4.8 needed that front end. Drag was killing him up top. That car was weird cause it seemed to get drug by the red Vette yet pulled very well against the boosted 5.0. That same 5.0 that outran the Vette. I guess the saying is true, "anything can happen in a street race".

Out of curiosity, how much boost was he running. An 88mm is a pretty decent sized turbo for a 4.8.

Good runs. Felt like the fbomb with no front end was just inconsistent from a roll. Im sure it would have done fine dig racing.

Boys, are we forgetting that turbo cars have boost controllers? Both were playing with their settings all night, hence the variance in races. I didn't even bother putting boost settings because **** that **** show trying to get things right. The little 4.8 had 32 psi pushed through and it and maybe some nitrous to spool and possibly during a few of the races to the end.

I remember when I had a nitrous car. It was cool and sucked at the same time. No way could I have been the vette running on motor over and over. If I have spray I want to spray everything lol and I know I won’t get the same feeling over and over. Boost life I can never leave.

this.... you make over 900rwhp i believe. anytime, anywhere. throttle peddle depressed, and boom. buh bye. the boost life is the only life. have you thought about changing to a big single?

i really liked the 4.8. i like just about anything on boost. i think the video illustrated the boost life on a terbo. change the boost controller or wastegate until you win.

Naw not a fan. I like twins but the kits for vette’s suck and most are always full of issues. The centri setups just flat out work.

its all the same man. centri is better than a PD. simpler than piping a terbo. the boost life.
