Wow , a little touchy aren't you? Let me point out a couple of things , 1) I merely pointed out what a well driven Z06 is capable of. Some people have run 11.6's with a BONE STOCK Z06 in good air , on a good track. 2) I said the cars in your sig couldn't beat a well driven Z06. 3) Between the two of us , I'M not the big headed ***. I'm one of the few people that thought the race this kid described was believable. 4) I'm not an internet racer. I've driven everything from an NHRA Pro Stock down to a 12 second bracket car. Try not to be such a hypocrite. You ask people not to judge you , but you don't seem to have any problem judging them.

As for racing ,sure I'm up for it. Based on the previous post I quoted you don't have any problem with me being on a tire and you're willing to set me out. How many cars will you give me? I'll assume that you've added some nitrous since you ran the times in your sig and that would put you at least in the mid 11's. Since I drive a high dollar pooch you should set me out at least 5 car-lengths and give me the move , just to make it fair. We can run for beer money , lunch money , whatever you want. If you have your heart set on running for pinks then I'll be happy to run you in my '69 Camaro. Since they are both 1st gen Camaros we can run heads up , you won't have to spot me at all.

 

why am i an ***? i just stated facts. nowhere does he say he's on et streets he says MT which could be a indy profile, a sportsman pro or heck an et drag, nowhere does he say it has stupid tall gears and no where does it say he has a big loose converter. so now you all the ones going crazy with the what if's on et streets if he can cut a 1.8 60 in the heavy car and the vette a 2.0-2.2 on street tires then by the 330 the vette would be ahead if it was well driven. once again these are what if's. and zo6killer i'll run you first gen for 1st gen but mine only runs 12.60's on motor so you either have to let me spray or set me out a few.

i'll do it for pinks. hey unit i finally sprayed it in the 1/4 with a little more agressive tune. see attatchment. and also in one of my posts i clearly stated anything can happen on the street i just said it didn't seem likely

The funny thing about this board is that alot of the folks here seem to forget that there is another motor out there. The LS1 is a bad dude, no question about it...but it is a ****-ant in the world of drag racing. It's not even on the friggin' map for the most part. 68maro posted a wake up call.

68maro , 4 seconds with nitrous? HOLY ****! That's something I don't see everyday. Every once-in-a-while I see cars that pick-up 2 or 2.5 seconds with nitrous , but 4 seconds . . . WOW that's impressive. I would love to see a picture of your nitrous set-up , it must look wicked.

 

it really runs 10.50's on the motor man. which isn't bad because the chassis motor and converter are all designed to work on the bottle

I saw a Z06 lose 4 or 5 races to a STOCK C5 at the 1/8 mile track about a week ago. I get the feeling they are a little tough to launch and hold traction. Heck, I even beat one on the street before. I'm sure the guy was shifting early. Got 'em by a 1/4 panel

And i am pretty sure i can do it with my 150 shot on the ta. Do i have to say it again, The impala weighs just about the same as my t/a but a lil less

yes modded on spray you should roll a z06 up and also destroy the impy.
