I'd like to know what is all done to that stang. Sounds wicked. Not sure what Moon motor consists of in terms of modification.

Ive talked to guy. Its cammed, stock heads but ported , upgraded timing chains, etc. Said he runs 600-700whp cars most time and wins. Wouldnt say how much power he actually dynod. Also its never been to the track.

This I could see. To be making power at that RPM (+8K), I had a feeling he had some cams and possible head work. Nice NA setup.
Who says Modular motors cant make power NA? Glad to see some Ford guys going this route instead of FI

He told me biggest thing was upgrading timing chains etc to handle the 8600rpm. Its got off shelf comp cams from what he says.

Well.....not in that vid

The lbo c6z on dubs was flat laying the gap on him.

It's not really making power up there. It's just better than shifting.

That's because they went to smaller chains in s550 cars.

Huh? I didn't see mavn gape anything. He should've shifted to OD & kept going.

Mavn won once. Missed a gear once. And about dead even on the other

Beating 6-700 whp cars? Not from that vid. Mavn is nowhere near that. A basic pro charged 6gen is about 600 and it destroyed him. The only clean hit bolt on zo6 walked him

It looks like a 130 mph car at best. Sounds good and always cool to see NA build on a coyote. Everyone just goes FI with them.

If I am not mistaken Mavn's car wasn't an LS3 car was it? I thought it was a LQ based 408.

Mavn car didn't have ls3 heads then. He was still working the cathedrals.

Mavn won the first race solidly. Looks like he started having clutch problems after that to me. Which is common as **** clutches heat up.
