This vette just came out, Gus still struggling with intake. Hard to guess what this vette will do vs Gus. I’m guessing edge to Gus after the cams and ported manifold. Good runs, Swapped got a lot of cars down here crapping on their undies.

Great runs man. I thought you did a great job.

I don't think the Vette driver was bad. A little slow on the 1-2 and 2-3 but not everyone wants to shift like hulk and break ****.

Keep em coming!

Gus car probably be a 125ish car after cams.....and that's a decent one. On the other hand a decent ls3 vette should easily go over 130 or it was did wrong.....like very wrong. Because we now know bolt on ls3 vettes are capable of 132. And that's not even max effort.

Yea...a ~500lbs difference plus more power in the vette. I can see why he pulled on you. Your car did well considering.

Not sure what the deal is but why are Mustangs getting heavier? I think Ford is going to have to address this soon like GM did with the 6th Gen. Mustangs were always supposed to be a somewhat light weight pony car.

False. Obviously you've never seen a "decent" one. My car is 121-123mph, with no track gear, bogging down into 2k rpm on launch, in pos. DA. His car was 124-125ish before camz & port work. Stay on your max bolt on LS in neg DA chit.

Dig racing tells you who has the better traction.
Roll racing tells you who has the faster car.

Atleast that's what Mary Poppins told me.

Sounds like bullshit to me. Especially these 40+ rolls with na cars.

besides .....if you want to know hoe a car performs once moving subract the 60' off the slip. That will give you a solid idea.

Good post...
If I can expand on that....
Dig racing also shows who has better acceleration due to torque, traction, gearing and weight.
Roll racing on the other hand, removes most of (but not all) properties dealing with traction, and weight due to inertia but instead moves most of the focus on torque and horsepower. I think the higher horsepower vehicle overall will end up victorious provided the race covers enough distance.

Yea yea. You know everything. You have no idea of what my car is. Your mind is off. How bout this. From your hero cars, who runs their car at the strip EXACTLY how it is on the street? No trailers, wheel swaps/drag packs, empty gas tanks, or even tire pressure changes?

From what he told me, in person, was that run was a while, several mods, ago from say when we ran. He guessed he was around a 125 car at that point. He was right by me.

Lol.
i drove my car to the track when it ran 10s and i drove it home in the rain.........on tires i didn't have to slow down on to boot. Wasn't gutted for a hero pass.....no special fuel......no race brakes.....3/4 tank of gas....didn't bypass ps either. Had all muh dd junk in it that day also. Satisfied?

I've ran 11.5 on my 18s running out of gear. Drove it there that day to.

are you really stupid enough to not adjust your air pressure? Yea i know all i need to know about your dumbass.

ooohhh....so his trapulator guessed 125 car

well lets not forget the 2 5gens that out ran you and 1 outran him. One of which ran a 121 trap and the other didn't make it to the 120s.
