not my car but found this super interesting. I follow both these guys. Both SS a8 with same cai, same size headers and same manifold. One car is tuned by Pray the other by Texas speed. Now the Texas speed car that gets stomped does not have his manifold ported but he is 100 lbs lighter than the Pray tuned car and also has his rear seat out. Neither cars have any trans tuning. About as close as it gets to equal other than tuning

just thought this was interesting and share it with you guys. Those of you with a 6gen I would recommend Pray or gpi and only those two for tuning. And here’s the proof. Prays car stomps this dude bad. Go to 8:45 in the vid to see his reaction. He’s dumbfounded lol.
Also a little evidence to the haters when I call out all the badly tuned a8 cars that sometimes get beat. They shouldn’t bog hitting 5th among other things. Tuning is everything on these cars.

Where is the race on video?

I’ll post the other vid up when it arrives from PRAY’s car (reapers race channel) I guess he gets a lot of kills that night and even beats a 6gen zl1 as this dude alludes to. Which I’m not that surprised as I have similar mods and I can beat them too. When thee a8 cars have proper tuning watch out.

Oneslowv... get with pray for tuning. He has worked with 93 tuning quite a bit and will get you running on point

i just thought the difference was insane. Never thought the difference could be so huge. I’m tempted to switch myself. GPI has been great but nobody knows a 6g better than pray

brandon hills auto is at 10.1 and a lot heavier. He’s also running a more streetable intake manifold. That high ram Texas speed is using kills power below 3500. An a8 car would be faster at the same weight as well as a high ram

Brandon hills 10.1 car has limited track time and is fairly heavy. It’s similar to mine with basic WR. 36-3700 lb range. Prays car will also be putting up some crazy numbers and it’s heavy too.

not downing the Texas speed car I just think a similar a8 woukd be going even faster. We are just now starting to see what these cars are capable of IMO. I think 9s are possible in a 36-3700 lb head cam auto. A gutted one would be insane

What was the DA for the last 9.8 run for Texas speed ? Do you know a race weight ?

they may hit mid 9s in hero air. I’d love to see an a8 done up the same way

for sure after watching the vid . I think I scored a used intake manifold for $100 plan on sending him that to port and Tb to before I get him to to it . Wanna see how bad I pull the 392 after that

Pray spent a lot of time learning to tune these cars and it shows.
