Now as far as these races are concered there are lots of stuff that affect acceleration. The power of the cammed ls6 is low to me since i made 451/423 with a stock cam on pump. So he still is leaving some on the table somewhere.
Be nice to know some et/mph on each car.
ls3 valves are slightly heavier because they are larger.

I'm starting to wonder if maybe my valvetrain is not as efficient as his. The PRC 5.3 heads have the heavier stainless steel valves, and BTR 660 dual valve springs. Plus i'm running forged pistons and rods too. While all that adds strength it also adds weight

Yea, I would think they'd hook better than what it sounds like. Sounds like he's on a summer radial tire. Lol. Maybe dried out or too much air pressure?

I mean im not blowing the tire off or lane changing loose in 3rd but u can definitely tell its not hooked and planted. If im quick enough on the 3-4 shift they will even chirp into 4th. Nt05R’s are sitting in the basement. That should solve my traction issues from a roll

And being that the tires aren't rotted and whatnot it should still hook better than it does. I mean it's only 450 rwhp for crying out loud, but it's acting like it's 550 rwhp lol. Not only is the car a freak but so are these particular 555R's it seems haha
