1170 WHP firebird vs 1150 C6z
Hi I need guidance for a street race . I own an m6 firebird trans am with an LSX 454 and direct port nitrouse making 1170 who. Car is full wight with a 3.42 Moser rear end . And a maximizer 4 nitrous controller currently programmed to 100 nitrouse past 3000 rpm . Wheels are 15s in the back and 17s in the front . Was called out by a c6z supercharged making 1150 Whp and pro EFI ECU tuned it has c6zr1 transmission and stoke wheels with toyo 888r tiers at the back .
now the question is I know its gona be a hard race . I might have the advantege in tourq but again c6z has better aerodynamics and better gear ration . Should I race him rolling 40 mph and tune my nitrouse to start N/A on first gear and progressive shot on the second gear race for a distance of 400 meters or option 2 is that I roll race him from 75mph to a distance of 400 meters and 100 percent nitrouse all the way through . This means I would start from 3rd gear and end at 4th gear . I believe no traction issues at this option
plz guide me on what u guys think

What's up buddy. Sounds like some pretty serious stuff. I would think option 2 with that amount of power on the street. Starting from a 40, especially from first, even off the nos, would prolly be skating. Good luck man let us know the out come.

Torque not tourq. It's your car shouldn't you know at what speed it should run best? I think you should learn your car before you kill someone or yourself. Has this car run anywhere but on a dyno?

Was MY_2K_Z making fun of your English, or just helping you out with it... Do you not know where your own car has traction issues and how it reacts at certain speeds and conditions?

any how I'll give it a shot and see . Most probably I would roll 75 just to make sure I could hook to the ground .

I would fill my tank with gas. Get the tires hot and get the best dig u can with no spinning right at the spot your going to go from. When you line up with him get back into you practice marks. The slick rubber on the tarmac will help some. So you will at least hopefully get the hit first and leap out front. The vets are light and low gaining mph faster than most any other car. The zr1 trans has the best gearing there is for pulling to top speed (200+). If you cant get the dig its going to be hard as hell to catch him. Don't ever do rolls with vettes. Any c6 can roll out from speeds that most cars wont even be able to attain. The faster the roll out speed the more your disadvantage.

Your feelings are so touched you had to go digging.... The difference, I'm not a whiny bitch so little things don't hurt my feelings, like losing a race or someone trying to help out a little with english. Learn your car and race the vette from the lowest speed you're confident at. Also, try to learn to not be so defensive.
