Glad this got cleared up. It was never stated that vettes can't cut 1.2-1.3 60' times. It was how many you know that do. Also after you posting up double power adder cars, that didn't get a 1.3, & cletus frame rails. Now coyote stock is not needed. Here's a couple mustangs that cut 1.2-1.3 60' times. So in the drag racing world it's safe to say vettes are nothing special on 60' times. They can be fast though.

in the drag racing world vettes rule actually. I know of NOTHING that rwd that puts power down as well as a vette. Nothing else touches them w/o mad modifications.......nothing.

I know the owner of the black c6z I posted. 1.29 60' with a 6 speed street car, 17" drag radial and the factory suspension. I love my fox, and mustangs are by far the king of stock style suspension racing but to my knowledge nothing can take the factory suspension components as far as the corvettes can. You've helped me to demonstrate this by posting cars with aftermarket suspension and 15" slicks.

h/c/I rods, pistons, full exhaust, clutch, diff brace, drag wheels, i think it had a tr6060 swapped in at that point. 200 shot. Factory suspension.

My C4 has a weak Dana 36 in it. You need to upgrade to a Dana 44 from a stick shift one when sixty foots get in the 1.6 range around stock weight and sticky tires. Basically same one in the Viper. I can't remember if Hio got a Dana 44 or not for his C4
