And I've never had a jack stand give out on me.
How does a jackstand "give out" by the way? Sounds like you either used to light of a jackstand but most likely improperly used the jackstand. Ive never seen a jackstand crushed by a car or truck. That's about the only way it can just "give out" completely on it's own.

Tuning can make or break those cars. If its FP black on a stock long block, then its tuned to keep the torque down. I ran FP black cars down in my stock turbo car all day long.
