Thanks Ndub! That was a Stoon slip.

Cobro got 2nd in big tire and was #1 qualifier in 275 but went out first round blazing the tires off. Fack

Just seen on Ktech's site they just released a revised LTx 427 that cranks out 806hp with a hydraulic bump stick and will turn 7500rpm.

Is the engine stock?
No it's a fully built Lingenfelter motor. Stock cube, PRC heads, blower cam. It's a full forged motor. He has 12bolt w/ 4.10 gear, strange axles. I am trying to talk to my brother and get him on board to getting the driveline lightened up... clutch etc. Before a track trip he will need to buy a beefier driveshaft and a set of slicks. I believe it has a Monster clutch in it. Unsure of other details at the moment.

Hey mang.. if you were wanting to head to the tracks when we go(Rock, FayettNam) PM your contact info. I can let you know when we all plan on going. Should be lots of chances this upcoming fall. I will probably stay boltons and hover in the 10.6-10.8 range but I'm fine with that.

Or if i don't trade for a C7Z, I may start building a spare king kong motor in the garage. Figure 427-440 cubes will be a good start. Maybe one of them there custom turbo kits... hmm.. Keep factory motor on the stand for if an issue arrises and be back to boltons for a bit lol

Pricey I'm sure but stellar none the less.

I think Ktech or SAM had an LS7 that made over 800 IIRC too -
